Doug Jackson began his professional photographic career with Yorkshire Regional Newspapers in 1999. Prior to establishing himself as a freelance photographer, he worked as a senior staff photographer for some of the North's leading newspapers including The Northern Echo and Darlington and Stockton Times.  Although Doug travels throughout the UK on assignments covering a diverse range of commissions, he enjoys living in Yorkshire because of its beauty and spirit.  

Doug is a confident, professional freelance photographer and videographer who works in a relaxed way, is never pushy or rude and always takes time to listen. Doug lives with his partner and children in Sheffield and when not traveling around the UK working, Doug enjoys riding his motorcycles, sailing, drawing and getting out for a walk in the wilds. 
Doug has travelled extensively by motorcycle and has completed many solo trips through-out the world.
